Tiffany’s personal mission is to embed better digital capability. She helps organisations and individuals to understand how to make immediate, practical use of technology. She inspires and excites people, and organisations, to lift their horizons on the art of the possible.
Tiffany is the former Head of Public Participation (Social Media) for the UK Government: this means she was the strategic lead in Cabinet Office across 32 central government departments for Social Media. She consulted to the UK Government for 14 years in a timeframe which went from no email…. to open data.
Tiffany ran the worlds’ largest web-rationalisation programme, was the first Director of Communications for Directgov and the first Head of Digital Policy Communications for the UK Government. She launched Data.gov.uk with the world-renowned Sir Tim Berners-Lee; together, they continue to work towards making the UK Government the most transparent in the world. In June 2017, Tiffany was asked to co-ordinate the global social media response to the tragedy of the fire at Grenfell Tower in London.
Tiffany founded, and manages, the digital management consultancy Transmute, which helps large organisations and governments to embrace digital change through the smart use of digital strategy, cultural innovation or workforce digital competency programmes.  Her clients include Google, M&G Investments, National Trust, the Abu Dhabi Government, Cabinet Office, UK Parliament, TalkTalk, The Telegraph, and Westminster City Council. Tiffany is one of the inaugural Tech City100, a TED Speaker, a tech columnist for The Drum and is regularly listed as one of the UKs Top 100 Digital Marketers.
